The demo is the easy part. We build custom software, production AI agents, automation and SaaS that survive real users — one studio, from scope to ship.

The short version

AI-first software studio, based in Bengaluru.

XKIT Labs designs, builds and ships production AI agents, business automation, custom software and SaaS platforms. One team owns the work from scope to launch, then hands over the code, documentation and IP. Clients work with us from India, the US, the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

What we offer

AI-first software.
Engineered end to end.

Custom software, production AI agents, business automation, SaaS engineering and end-to-end delivery. Tell us the problem and we scope the smallest system that proves it.

AI first / product always

An agent only matters if the product around it works. We scope both as one system.

01AI engineering

Agents with a real job.

Agents, retrieval and automation that do the work, not a demo. Built with evaluations, guardrails and a human in the loop where it matters.

  • AI agents and copilots
  • Retrieval over private knowledge
  • Business process automation
  • Evals, guardrails and handoff

AI that survives production.

A product delivery board showing feature, API and infrastructure work
02Product engineering

The product around the AI.

Custom software, SaaS platforms and the integrations that make them useful. We design the surface, build the backend and hand over code your team can keep shipping.

  • Custom software and internal tools
  • SaaS platforms, roles and billing
  • Web, mobile and design systems
  • Cloud, CI/CD and observability

A product, not a prototype.

Production AI, not demos. Agents that read your systems, take real actions and hand back to a person at the right moment.

AI agents

Agents that read your tools and data, take actions and escalate to a person when the call matters. Scoped to a job, not a chat window.

→ Work that runs without you.

Business automation

The repetitive work between your systems: quotes, tickets, reports, onboarding. Automated with an audit trail, not a fragile script.

→ Hours back every week.

Not sure which one? Describe the problem in plain language. We will tell you what to build, what not to build, and what it should cost.

Our promise

AI-first for the part after the demo.

We stay for the part after launch: evaluations, monitoring, iteration and the next feature. AI only earns its place when it keeps running.

  • Evaluated, not guessed.

Every agent ships with a test set, clear failure modes and a way to measure whether it is getting better.

  • Observed in production.

Traces, cost, latency and answer quality are visible from day one, not after the first incident.

  • Owned after launch.

A named engineer, an agreed support window and code your team can keep shipping.

No star widgets. Names shortened where a client asked.

The handover was unusually calm. Environments, docs and a walkthrough; our own team shipped a feature in the first week without calling anyone.

They spent a day watching how our team actually worked before proposing anything. The tool replaced four spreadsheets, and people used it without a training session.

AI features can feel like a demo trick. They built the evaluation set with us and showed us what the model should refuse. That changed how we thought about the product.
SKSneha K.Founder, learning platformCruxBit
Clear updates, no theatre. When a date moved, we heard a week early, with the trade-off laid out. That is rarer than the code.

The common thread is not a stack or a sector. It is being told the truth early, and having someone still there after launch.

We don't ship
and disappear.

Launch is the start of the part that matters. Every build leaves with a handover, a named person to call and a support window that is agreed before the invoice.

  • A named person on the threadNot a ticket queue. The person who built it is reachable.

FAQ

The things people ask.

Straight answers before you get on a call.

How quickly can you start?

Most projects can start within one week of a scoping call. Smaller builds, like a landing page or a focused AI feature, sometimes start sooner.

What does a project cost?

A polished marketing site typically starts around ₹75,000. Production web apps, mobile products and AI systems are quoted after a 30-minute scoping call, because the honest answer depends on scope. You get a fixed price before work begins.

Can you take over an existing product?

Yes. About a third of our work is extending, modernising or rescuing existing products. We start with a short audit so you know what is worth keeping before you commit to a rebuild.

Who owns the code and the IP?

You do. Source code, documentation and infrastructure are handed over with full ownership. We keep no lock-in on your product.

How do you stop AI features from failing in production?

We treat evaluation as part of the product. Agents get grounded retrieval, clear guardrails, fallback paths and an evaluation set that runs whenever a model or prompt changes.

Do you only build AI products?

No. AI-first is how we think, not the only thing we ship. Plenty of our work is custom software, SaaS and internal tools with no model involved. When AI does belong in the product, it is designed with evaluation, guardrails and a human fallback from the start.

Do you work with teams outside India?

Yes. We work remotely with teams across the US, UK, Europe and the Middle East, and keep overlap hours that make decisions possible without a daily 3am call.

What is an AI-first software studio?

An AI-first software studio designs AI into the product from the first sketch instead of bolting it on later. At XKIT Labs that means deciding whether AI belongs at all, then building the model layer with evaluations, guardrails, retrieval and a human fallback alongside the software around it.

What technologies do you use?

Next.js, React and TypeScript on the web, React Native for mobile, Python for AI and data work, Postgres for storage, and AWS for infrastructure. The stack follows the problem, and it is handed over documented so your team can keep shipping.

How long does a project take?

A focused feature or marketing site usually takes two to four weeks. A production web app, mobile product or AI system typically runs four to twelve weeks depending on scope. You get a timeline and a fixed price before work begins.

Do you support the product after launch?

Yes. Every launch includes a handover and a support window. After that, monthly retainers cover monitoring, fixes, upgrades and new features, or you can run it in-house with our documentation.
