3. Proposals and client work

Nothing on this site is a binding offer. Paid work is governed by a separate written agreement, proposal, or statement of work signed by both parties. If those documents conflict with anything on this site, the signed documents take priority.

4. Our intellectual property

The XKIT Labs name, mark, site design, copy, illustrations, and code are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property law. You may read, share links to, and quote short excerpts of the site for personal or internal business use, provided you credit the source. You may not copy the site or its content for a competing product or commercial republication without written permission.

Ownership of work created for a client is set out in the applicable agreement. Our standard position is that clients own the deliverables once invoices are paid, while we retain ownership of pre existing tools, know how, and reusable components.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any connected system;
• introduce malware, launch denial of service attacks, or otherwise interfere with the availability of the site;
• scrape the site at a rate that degrades service for other visitors;

Our total liability for claims relating to the site is limited to INR 10,000. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes relating to the site will be subject to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
